The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play.
So we sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day.
Mother rushed to the kitchen and with a wham-slam-bam
She made us a supper of green eggs and ham!
We gobbled up cat’s hats before she could blink.
Then washed them down with a drink of pink ink.
Although it was wet and the sun was not sunny,
We still had lots of good fun that was very funny!
