The porch has finally been decked out in red, white and blue for the impending holiday. The itty bitty hydrangeas and jasmine I planted last year have just exploded. So rewarding!
It’s pretty much the same as last year, but you just might notice… we’ve got SCREENS! Much more on that later.
A few flags have been added to the potato vine on the stairs.
Inside I switched out our pillow covers for red and the oyster painting for my DIY Sweet Land of Liberty canvas and free printable.
The fish was replaced with a wooden flag for the holiday.
And a few little flags add a patriotic touch in other vignettes.

Now, we’re in quite a pickle as to what to do about our annual soiree. The weatherman is calling for a “complete washout” and all of the forecasts are in agreement as to 100% chance of rain. We’ll make the call one way or other tomorrow.
Happy almost 4th, y’all!

Love the pillows and those chevron curtains! So festive!
I absolutely love your screened porch! I enjoy seeing how you decorate for the different holidays, You have the best ideas and everything always looks so pretty! It has been raining here for weeks in NC, really miss the summer sunshine.
Your porch is fabulous! love that wonderful table. Hope your day is good, rain or shine!
Gorgeous… as always! Happy 4th!
Being the lover of red that I am, I think your porch looks perfect! All your touches of patriotic decor really look great…especially your print over the fireplace. I hate this weather we are having too. We had a big 4th of July dinner tonight since we didn't know if it would even be possible on Thursday. Good luck with your plans!
Goodness "exploded" is exactly what your hydrangeas & jasmine did!!! Impressive my dear:)
Love all your patriotic touches to your home….Happy 4th!
I remember loving that wooden flag from last year! Gorgeous porch and I bet you are enjoying those screens, especially during buggy times of the day. Happy 4th! I hope your party doesn't get rained out!
Cheers! – Shelley
Yes, this GA rain. Good thing I am escaping to another state this weekend.
Your potato vine, do you trim it? Mine is going EVERYWHERE on the front porch. The purple is not growing as well as the green version. Thought I would ask what you do with yours. Thanks!
We are off to the beach and the forecast is for RAIN. Ugh!!! I feel your pain. Happy 4th!
Your screened porch looks like the perfect place to celebrate the 4th. Love the patriotic touches with your coastal decor. Guess most of us in Georgia will be having rain, but hope your 4th is great, regardless.
Stunning! I would love for you to share at my new {Work it Wednesday} Linky party if you get the chance!!

So festive! All this rain we have had has the hydrangeas growing like crazy this year.
If it makes you feel any better, every year we would attempt to throw a 4th BBQ and Pool Party and it NEVER fails, every year it is a rain out. I say throw the party anyhow and do something fun instead!
Love your decorations for the fourth! And the way you switched things out on your porch is fabulous. How do you keep the rain from damaging your things (table, paintings, wood chairs, etc.) on your porch?
I do clip back the potato vine when it starts to drag the ground. I really don't do anything else to it and never remember to water it until it's looking half dead :-)
As far as keeping the stuff on the porch nice, we have a pretty wide overhang (?) and rain only comes in right around one spot where the door is for some reason. If it's really windy and rainy, it will spray in a little and I just go out there afterwards and towel off the table. The sofa and chairs are meant for outdoors and rain doesn't hit the other stuff.
As usual, holiday PERFECTION! My I please ask where you purchased your bunting and the runner on your table? I have looked around for some bunting for our new house but haven't been sure what to buy. Thanks and have a happy fourth to your and yours!
I love the flags in your potato vines. I was looking for a way to decorate with small flags by the front door. I will have to remember to do that next year!
I love reading that you trim your potato vine. I never thought to trim it like that. That really makes it look nice!
