Stars and Stripes on the Porch

When I pulled out the stars and stripes for the exterior on Flag Day, I also fluffed the porch in all things red, white and blue!!  We spend most of our mornings and evenings out here and I love changing it out a little for big holidays.

Mother made the red and white pillow covers for me a couple of years ago.  I just slip them on the usual pillows for July 4th and sometimes Christmas.  The flag pillow and the large wood painted flag were both from Pottery Barn about five years ago.

I’ve hung my Sweet Land of Liberty DIY canvas over the fireplace.  It is still one of my favorite projects to date!

I picked up the fun USA topper for my Coton Colors Happy Everything plate while in Savannah.  Slowly but surely I’m rounding out my collection with something for all of the holidays.

I added my old Pottery Barn runner to the table and a couple of flags to the centerpiece for a quick and easy change.

And, with that, I think we are set for Independence Day!  We’re headed to the playground and pool today with friends.  It’s gonna be a scorcher…

  1. It looks like you are all set for the 4th. Your porch is just so much fun, I'm sure it gets a lot of use!

  2. Amanda, I love all the patriotic touches you have added for the 4th of July. So festive! Is your "Happy Everything" plate the small one? Do you use yours for just display or do you serve on it as well? Have a blessed day!

  3. Looks A-mazing! So nice and clean and fresh with the pops of red. Heck…I may just come over and nap on that couch and have Star Spangled dreams :o)

  4. It's the mini happy plate. I have not served on it – just because it's so cute on display. But I could :-)

I've had the flags for years. I can't remember where I got them. Some online flag store. I'm sorry!
