I Love {Chicken Salad Chick}

In much the same way that I will never make pimento cheese again since discovering Palmetto Cheese, I see no need to ever make chicken salad again after the Chicken Salad Chick started popping up around town.  It’s SO good, y’all!

The ingenious chick behind the brand started it all in her kitchen.  With stores across the Southeast now, the “Classic Carol” sits along side fourteen other fabulous varieties on the menu.  The “Cranberry Kelli” and “Fancy Nancy” are two of my faves, but there are other unique savory varieties like “Jalapeno Holly” and “Buffalo Barclay”.  I almost always order the “Original Chick” special with a scoop of “Fancy Nancy”, a side of broccoli salad, a pickle and the cookie of the day.  YUM!

I also love to pick this up for parties and gatherings.  My family of chicken salad connoisseurs fell in love with it when we served it at John’s First Communion party.  It’s always a crowd fave and is just so darn easy.

If you’ve tried CSC, what’s your fave?  I should totally branch out!

  1. If you ever tried my easy, peasy pimento cheese recipe you would never buy it again. I haven’t tried Chicken Salad Chick, yet. It might just have to be a Fall Break outing for me. Grandbaby free next week!

    1. Add that to your fall break list!!! SO good! And go ahead and send me your recipe. I know Mother will make it for me… she’s not convinced about my resolving to just buy it :-)

      1. Could you get the pimiento recipe and post it. We make our own but like Palmetto and Emmys original too. Won’t order it at CSC yet because I am still working through the Chicken salads.

  2. Oh my gosh!!!! Love love love that place! It’s the only time I ever eat croissants. Truly delish! I’ve tried the classic and the fruity one (name escapes me). I always try the sample flavors as well, because why not?!

  3. I have been wanting to try CSC for a while now and this might just make me go! I’m with your on the Palmetto cheese. We go through it so quickly at our house…everyone loves it. :-)

  4. I love Olivia’s Old South and Nutty Nana! I go there for the broccoli salad! YUM! I’ve heard the pimento cheese is delish, but I haven’t had a chance to try it! Might do that today!

  5. Funny (but true) story……
    After reading this post …..(since I had never heard of CSC)…. I googled locations and found out there are 2 locations in Greenville SC,!! Guess where I had lunch today!! Thanks for the heads up!
