While we’ve already discussed how I decorate early and start playing carols non-stop the week before Thanksgiving, it’s not officially Christmas until we’ve made our annual visit to Atlanta’s quintessential Santa and taking a few trips on The Pink Pig!! We spent John’s birthday partaking in this whole-family tradition!
First things first, they made their lists and checked them twice twenty-five thousand times. And then they hopped in jolly old St Nick’s lap to prove their places on the “nice” list and discuss their wish lists.
When we finished up with Santa, we met the rest of the family across the street at The Pink Pig – an Atlanta tradition! For the first time, the four littles were able to ride without the adults in tow.
We rounded out the evening with cupcakes and ice cream at Sprinkles!!!!
It was a family tradition that I look forward to each and every year! It’s officially Christmas, y’all!!! Falalalalalalalala….

I die at the bow ties & john’s plaid pants – just perfection! Visiting Santa is, of course, the perfect way to kick off the season! xo
I love the PINK PIG!! When I was in nursing school about 40 years ago now, we would go to the roof at Rich’s downtown to ride the Pink Pig. And they gave out stickers then too!! Love seeing your boys all dressed up here at Christmas. They are fine young men!! And I love your plaid dress too!
I love your traditions and how you have them get dressed up. So precious!
