Easter Decor in the Kitchen

I mentioned yesterday that I have put out a few Easter things here and there. It will just be the four of us this year, but we’ve had plenty of time at home to make the effort worthwhile. :-)

I shared my moss bunny basket yesterday. It’s my very favorite thing for this year!

I bought a few bags of Easter candy as soon as they hit the shelves, before the world shut down. It felt so normal and good to pull it out. For the Peeps jar, I have a clear glass turned upside down in the center and then the candy arranged around it. The other jar is edible Easter grass a cheap chocolate bunny and Robin’s Eggs.

At the coffee bar I pulled some Natalie Chang napkins from my stash and put coffee pods in my Happy Everything bowl.

Y’all know I love decorating with seasonal candy. More Robin’s Eggs in the Peanut Man. I also swap out this photo of my boys seasonally.

At the kitchen table I recreated the same simple arrangement from last year. It has been really nice because we dine here every night (mandatory!) and then play a game. It clears off to the island in 2 seconds.

The napkins are old from World Market and the rings are old from the Dollar Spot at Target. The plates are very old from Ross Simons.

The last little piece in the kitchen is the bunny bunting I made last year from left over kitchen/den fabric.

Easter Welcome

That wraps up my mini kitchen tour! I am more grateful that ever that this is where we get to shelter at home. My cup runneth over. I hope that you and yours are safe and well. <3

  1. Hi, forgive me if you get this message twice as I tried sending yest. Where do you buy edible grass from?

  2. I really love the chocolate bunny centerpiece…so cute! Thankfully, I picked up a few new things for Spring/Easter at HomeGoods before the quarantine and used other things I already had. I found a nice hurricane lantern during my outing at HomeGoods earlier in the month and filled it with faux grass, pastel eggs and a put a flameless candle in the middle.

It will definitely be different this Easter and it felt sad buying such a small baked ham for just my husband and I but when better days are here again it will be quite a celebration with our families and friends.

    1. I agree. I splurged on a tiny boneless Honey Baked Ham. Usually my mom would cook a ham but the grocery store was sold out and we won’t be celebrating with my parents. <3
