Super Bowl-ing 2021

John was bummed to miss hosting what would be his fourth annual Super Bowl party, but I tried to keep things festive if just for the four of us!! I put out a full spread for grazing during tonight’s big game and it was a great night. I, for one, particularly enjoyed consuming all the party food in the comfort of my jammies and then being able to scurry upstairs when the novelty of the game wore off. :-)

Super Bowl Snack Menu

These are the boys favorites…

  • Chocolate cake (Publix)
  • Rotel Dip & Spinach Dip (Trader Joe’s) served with flour tortillas, chips and french bread
  • Wings (Publix) with ranch, blue cheese, buffalo sauce and celery
  • Pepperoni Bread (recipe)
  • Ruffles and Helluva Good Onion Dip

Super Bowl Party Decor

I pulled out all of my old football entertaining pieces from the years when we tailgated religiously every weekend from September through January. The napkins and paper cups were left over from last year. I didn’t purchase a thing but the food. Here are a few sources:

  • Silver football pieces by Hollybelle (this was popular in 2002)
  • Turf tablecloth (reusable from Party City)
  • White oval with football attachment by Happy Everything
  • White rectangle with football attachment by Nora Fleming

I retired after half time to lie in bed and watch Outlander. Talk about a great night! <3
