Organizing the Bathroom

Sometimes it is the smallest project that makes the largest difference! For whatever reason, when we updated the bathroom I only purchased two sets of organizational drawers for the entire wall of cabinets under the sink.

It took 3.5 years and on a whim I threw THREE more sets in my cart at Target. I came straight home, emptied all the cabinets and threw away about half of what we had under them – mostly out of date over the counter medications and soap/shampoo bottles with an ounce left in them. I fully cleaned out the insides of the cabinets and then started organizing with my new materials.

Since this photo was taken, I now store my travel bags inside of my suitcase in the attic so this looks even more tidy! This is my cabinet.

Between our sinks, we have a trash can and I added another drawer unit for extra deodorant, toothpaste, floss and q-tips. Extra shampoo and body wash is here too. Now, everyone knows where to come shop when they run out.

Since Honey doesn’t have any toiletries, his side is organized with puppy things, cold/flu, wound care and all other.

I tell you what, this is basic but it makes me happy every time I open a cabinet.
