I’m back today with the menu from our Spring Fling party – it was simple and included our own favorite eats. I think it is nice to serve things that you love and feel comfortable making. For a party of this size (about 60), I like to do a lot of a few different items, as opposed to an extensive menu. Nearly everything was eaten, and I’ll share quantities as I find that helpful myself.
Tip: We’ve been doing this party for a few years now and I keep a note of how many attended and quantities of each thing I made and if any was left afterwards. This has been valuable as we shop for the next year!
2023 Spring Fling Party Menu & Recipe LInks
- 16 Pork tenderloins, grilled on Big Green Egg
- 3x 36 pack Hawaiian rolls (Costco) – slice 1-2 days before
- Field Pea and Tomato Salad*
- 1 Beck’s Crackers
- 4 Jalapeno Cheddar Crackers
- 24 petit fours (McEntrye’s Bakery)
- 5 dozen chocolate thumb print cookies (McEntyre’s Bakery)
- Honey’s Whiskey Sour Punch
- Full bar with mixers and garnishes (most guests also brought something to add to the bar!)
*I revised the Field Pea and Tomato salad for this party to make it friendlier to eat while standing up. I used only halved cherry tomatoes (4 cartons). My peas turned to mush after soaking so in a pinch I subbed 3 cans of black eyed peas and it worked great!
