The Haunted Halloween Home Tour continues in the living room today! I’m doubly excited to share this room seeing as we finished it all up this summer and I’ve yet to give the grand reveal. I promise to do that soon, with the “everyday” look and the sources.
Okay… where to start?! I didn’t buy anything new for this room. I just moved a few things from other rooms to spread out the spooky touches. Here is a full view of the room from the foyer. I didn’t need to take out anything to make room for Halloween. I moved my collection of crows from the den to the bookshelves here this year.
On the coffee table I have the gold snake candle holder that was previously used on the porch. The black battery/remote operated candles are from here. I didn’t decorate the porch this year since I’m hosting homecoming dinner for John and friends. The digital download for the Frame TV is from here.
I usually don’t have anything at all on the sideboard, but used it to set up a little Halloween cocktail for the season.
I have not yet tried the Witches Brew from Williams Sonoma, but they assured me it was delicious and nearly sold out. The haunted radio was from Grandin Road a few years ago. I wish it were motion sensitive, rather than a manual turn on. It is battery operated and a really lightweight (cheap) body. But, it works just fine and we’ve all enjoyed it. It’s great for trick or treat night!
It seems the skele-family has made themselves comfy in the living room this year. “Elsa” is perched over in the corner next to the sideboard. Anna is stretched out across Skelly. Just like the real life version of her.
On the bar tray, I added a fun bottle of wine I found at Target.
Finally, my most treasured pieces of ALL of my Halloween decor… the hologram pictures. These were made years ago at Memento Mori in Magic Kingdom. It was a really neat experience having them made (discontinued) and they have been some of our most used souvenirs. They are also a huge conversation piece!
It was fun to have a new space to dream about this year. This room is always in use now and has been such a better fit for our family than the formal living room ever was.
Happy Halloween, y’all!
