After (not so) patiently waiting the thirty days for the paint in the new cabinets to cure, I got the faux grasscloth up both in the dining room and kitchen.
It is a subtle difference, especially in photos, but I love it.
I love how it looks behind the white, silver and crystal.
The kitchen cabinets are also done!
In here, I put blue and white accents.
I talk more about the wallpaper and videos I watched before installing it in this post:
Here’s what’s left in the kitchen:
- Wallpaper walls – have to wait until late April for the paint to cure
- Buffet type table to fill this space a little more
- Art
- Door for fridge – supposed to come today
And in the dining room:
- Monogram chair backs
- Wallpaper walls
- Hang mirror (previously in kitchen) and candle sconces (previously in living room)
- Hang curtains – sneak peek below!
- Figure out something to hang over existing buffet table (currently a mirror… don’t need two in here)

The pattern on the drapery is charming! Lovely color scheme.
It looks great in both cabinets.
