All good things must come to an end, as they say. It was an absolutely epic few days immersed in Rome. We were treated like true VIPs and had access to locations and experiences and experts that we never could have curated on our own. We ate, saw, explored, enjoyed and relaxed and are leaving little pieces of our hearts in this ancient city.

Our day started with one final and delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel. One of many things I adore about traveling with Adventures by Disney is that they handle all of the logistics. We simply had to have our checked bags outside of our rooms at 8AM, where they will be whisked away to port and effortlessly delivered to our staterooms aboard the Disney Dream. The boys packed the night before and left their bags in our room so they could sleep in late. Our departure time was not set until 10:30 AM, so Honey and I enjoyed the most leisurely breakfast on the hotel’s rooftop terrace! We sipped on cappuccinos, savored mimosas, and soaked in the views of Rome including Vatican City and the Colosseum!
And now, we set sail for Italy and Greece on the beautiful Disney Dream!
