We woke up in the picturesque port of Santorini today with a full day port adventure on the horizon.

Port of Santorini
Santorini is a tender boat port, so we met with our port adventure group and headed off the Dream. We took the tender to meet our motorcoach for the drive to the Village of Oia.
Village of Oia
Oia was absolutely stunning and the picture card image you think of when someone says Greece. We arrived in town early by my standards, but it was already crowded and bustling!
After exploring a bit, we stumbled into a bakery on the lower street level for breakfast. Imagine our surprise when they led us to this absolutely charming table up two flights of stairs once we were inside! This was a pinch me now moment.
After a leisurely breakfast, we explored the town a bit more at our leisure. The most interesting shop we saw was offering pedicures where you have your feet in tanks teeming with little fish! :-)
Wine Tasting
Our next stop was at a charming vineyard for a tasting of Santorini Wines. I absolutely loved the Vinsanto and regret not bringing a few bottles home.
Black Sand Beach & Lunch
Lunch brought us to one of Santorini’s famed black sand beaches
Village of Fira
We spent the rest of our day in the village of Fira. Again, such a lovely spot with winding streets and churches on every block. We hiked to the Three Bells of Fira and were delighted with these spectacular views.
Onboard the Disney Dream
It was a wonderful but long and HOT day. Back onboard the Dream, I loved seeing the flags of Italy and Greece flying. We popped int he lounge for happy hour, spent some time cooling off and relaxing int he room, and ordered in room service for dinner.
Our day ended with this spectacular Santroni sunset as we sailed off to Chania.
