Here’s a peek at my New Year’s table in the dining room. Once again, the disco balls made an appearance. They were the centerpiece of our New Year feast table and reflect joy all around the room all day long!

Since we sat down to dinner after dark, I wanted to share a few photos from earlier in the day when the light was better. I always enjoy seeing a table in daylight before it transitions into an evening celebration.

The tablecloth is actually a white matelassé spread. The one I had previously used ended up back on a bed, so I replaced it with this one. It was inexpensive, lightweight and the twin size turned out to be a much better fit for the table than a queen.

I set the table with our Butler’s Pantry plates, Waterford Millennium flutes and Lismore goblets. These are pieces we’ve had since our wedding and I still love them decades later.

The white linen napkins with a metallic gold monogram were a Christmas gift to myself a few years ago and I still love them. I paired them with my gold bamboo napkin rings and tied gold leaf ribbon in a bow at the top of each one. The place cards have been in my collection for years. I laminated them long ago and we reuse them often.

I picked up white tulips on clearance at the grocery store and arranged them in my grandmother’s rose bowl.

You can find all of the sources I have here:
- 8″ disco ball | 12″ disco ball
- Flying Wish Paper
- White Double Face Satin Ribbon
- Gold Leaf Ribbon
- Rising to the Occasion Book
- Bedspread (used as tablecloth)
- Large bells
- Metallic Gold Monogram Napkins
- Lenox Butler’s Pantry Plates
- Waterford Millennium Champagne Flutes

Right now the spread is in the wash and the dishes are tucked away. I will put everything back together and keep the centerpiece in place until it is time to pull out the Valentine’s décor. A little winter sparkle seems just right as we dive into 2026! (And by dive, I mean head first. I accidently sent Whit back to school a day early, John returned to Auburn with my one credit card, and work is already a beast. HA!)
