Over the years I have built quite the collection of bases and attachments and I still reach for them more than any other decor in my house. I love this line because it lets me celebrate every little thing without needing an entire cabinet full of platters, bowls, vases and seasonal serveware. One base. Endless possibilities. It is genius and it is so cute.

This year Happy Everything sent me their Roses Are Red Bouquet mini attachment and it is just as cheerful and charming as it sounds. It is bright, happy and perfect for everything from Valentine’s Day to birthdays, anniversaries or simply brightening up a winter day. I love having something floral that works long after Christmas has been packed away but still feels special and celebratory.
A little Happy Everything backstory
The Happy Everything idea began back in 2003 when founding artist and CEO Laura Johnson wanted a way to decorate for every holiday without needing a new serving piece for each one. She created a single platter with interchangeable attachments, and the concept took off from there. It is simple, clever and endlessly useful, which is why so many of us have fallen in love with it.
How it works
You start with a base.
They come in two sizes, Big or Mini. I personally use all Minis throughout my home.
There are many shapes and styles from platters to bowls to vases, and they come in several colors. All of mine are classic white because they work with everything.
Then you add an attachment.
Choose a Big or Mini attachment to match your base.
Each one attaches with a hook and loop fastener, making it easy to swap in seconds.
When the season or mood changes, just switch the attachment and you are ready for something new.
That is what makes Happy Everything so perfect for someone like me who loves to mark every season, holiday and little life moment. One minute it is hearts, the next it is shamrocks, flowers, pumpkins or Christmas trees.
The Roses Are Red Bouquet is already making me smile every time I pass it. It is such a happy little pop of color and a lovely reminder that there is always something worth celebrating. I’ll share more of my Valentine’s touches soon!
