12 Days of Christmas Tour of Homes {Day 3}

Have y’all be following along in the 12 Days of Christmas Tour of Homes?
Well, if you haven’t already, you simply must check out Lisa’s home.  It’s pretty fabulous…think: loads of fresh greenery, a precious Advent calendar (that I’m absolutely copying next year), and a darling way to display her cards from Christmases past (yep, copying that too.)

Now, are you ready for Day 3?  I sure am!?!?!  I mean, I feel like I’ve finally “made it”, what with being invited to join such a fabulous tour!!!

When the most magical month of the year rolls around, we don’t stop at the halls!  We deck the walls, beds, chairs and pretty much everything in sight.  There’s nothing I love more than filling our home with twinkling lights, greenery, bows and all that glitters.  And the looks on my littles’ faces when it is all done makes it worth every last ounce of effort!!  Without further ado, I’d be pleased as punch to have the pleasure of your company on my holiday home tour…

Y’all come on in!  When we painted and numbered our stairs as a “temporary fix until we could afford a nice runner”, I had no idea how much we’d grow to love it.

The living room tree seems to evolve year to year – this year it was bedecked in aqua, mercury glass and crystal.

I keep the dining room decorations simple and elegant, and love that little Nativity more than anything.

In the kitchen we look forward to pulling out the Christmas china each and every year.  We started our collection with wedding gifts, and Mother has added to it each year since.

Each and every ornament on the den tree was chosen for a reason.  Most were purchased by us for each other as part of our annual family ornament exchange, and the rest are from trips or were received as gifts.

The littles both sleep in this room and they adore foregoing the night light for the twinkling tree at Christmastime.

My littlest son’s room.  He prefers to sleep with brother, but I still put his tree up each year.

We use the porch nearly year round, and we love it even more with a tree and lights!

  4. I love your home, Christmas or not. So tasteful! I have to know—where did you get the print in the baby's room that says, "Yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am, no ma'am, please, thank you"?? My mother said that whole phrase to us constantly as I was growing up, and I MUST have one of those. Please reveal your source:) THANK YOU! [email protected]

  5. What a stunning home you have! It is all just gorgeous, so much creativity. I really like the labels you used for your hot chocolate bar, so cute! Merry Christmas!
