Thanksgiving Vignette Hop {Apple Cider Bar}

I was so flattered when my sweet blog friend Sherry at No Minimalist Here invited me to join her Thanksgiving Vignette party!!  I love any sort of beverage bar out on the porch, as evidenced by my hot chocolate bars and bloody mary bar, and have been itching to put together an apple cider bar.

The leaves are falling, the air is crisp and we are practically living out on the porch.  When Honey built the sideboard, he did so with entertaining in mind.  It has absolutely been the most functional piece out there!

I use a percolator to heat and serve the apple cider, and mason jar mugs rimmed in brown sugar are practically the embodiment of fall.  The Happy Everything mini plate is out year round, with the cornucopia attachment during the month of November.

On the toppings front we have whipped cream, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks and apple slices.  Add a splash of Apple Jack if you really want to take it to the next level!!

It wasn’t until we were all lounging around on the sofa enjoying ourselves that I realized I forgot to put out the caramel sauce. They were divine no matter!

The apple cider bar was such a hit that I think we’ll leave it up straight through Thanksgiving!!  In fact, it would be the perfect way to unwind after the big turkey or to entertain before the meal.

Happy almost Thanksgiving y’all!!

  1. Looks lovely! With temps in the 20s here, we've given up on fall and have headed full steam into Christmas. Turkey day morning would be extra special though with an apple cider bar….thanks for the inspiration.

  2. What a terrific idea! And of course no detail is overlooked either, adorable! Super jealous of your time on the porch….here the high today is 38 and the few days after that 34!!! I think we may be in for a long one this winter.

  3. Your porch is one of my favorite spaces, I love it. Your Apple Cider Bar is a genius idea and using the perculator to keep it warm is genius. All the fixings sound so good and of course a little Apple Jack would make it really special. Love this idea.

  4. This looks great!! Your apple cider bar is so cute!! I recently printed off pics of your hot chocolate bar and tried to create the same thing, its one of my favorite spots in my home after a long day. Love all your ideas and inspirations!!

  5. LOVE this rendition of the back porch beverage bar! Since I'm the only one in the fam who likes cider, I may just have to make this up just for me! And is that an oyster shell wreath I spy? Love that, too! xo

  6. What a fun "bar"! I've never tried some of those combos. I love apple cider, so I know I would love it. Your cute sign and little orange pumpkins are a great way to jazz it up too.

  7. I love this! Such a great idea to use a percolator to keep the apple cider hot. I remember when everyone used those for coffee and I loved the sound. :) I'm going to use this idea for the holidays + the Apple Jack!

  8. What a great idea to keep the apple cider hot…a percolator!!! Do they still sell those? I also did know about Apple Jack. I am going to have a crowd for Thanksgiving. Your apple cider bar sounds like such a great idea…I hope I actually get around to doing it!
