When Sister, Mother and I took CeeCee down to Disney last November, she picked out a precious little Bambi stuffed animal and never let it out of her sight the whole trip. She called it “Bandi” and took very good care of it – brushing its little tuft of hair, showing it all sorts of wonderful things in the parks and carefully tucking it in bed at night. So when Sister asked what sort of party she would like to celebrate four, it was no surprise that she picked “Bandi”!
I designed the invitation and thank you notes just for the little princess, but you can now find them in the Dixie Delights Shop as well.
As always, and with the tireless help of Mother, Sister truly brought her magic and talent to the woodland wonderland theme. Everything was so beautifully crafted and well thought out, with no detail being missed.
The long pint-sized table was an impressive centerpiece to the room. I loved the blush and gold paper products and floral runner.
Sister hand made the centerpieces with wood rounds, DIY paper peonies and moss. She also dotted the table with glittery snow. {How to Make Paper Peonies Video}
CeeCee had the most darling little outfit. Mother found the sweater at Gap as part of their Disney collection.
The adult tables each had a round of paper with a large paper peony, crepe paper leaf and snow.
The fireplace mantle was festooned with DIY tissue tassel garland made by Mother. She layered a painted canvas with paper bunting over the mirror and did two balloon bouquets on either side. I love that she repurposed the pink mushroom stools from last year’s Mad Tea Party. {How to Make Tissue Tassels Video}
The cake table was equally as gorgeous. Here she used a piece of lattice from Home Depot with kraft paper fans. Like on the mantle, she painted a plain canvas light pink and attached one of her tissue peonies. It made such a stunning backdrop for the lovely cake adorned with fresh flowers!
She was so enamored with her cake and all of the “Bandis”!
When it was time to sing and blow out candles, the sweet girl was terrified of her sparkler candle.
Luckily Sister had some spares. CeeCee broke down in fear the first go round but was much happier with these.
A bin of baby “Bandis” was just next to the cake table. These were the darling party favors that all of the littles were SO SO SO excited to carry home.
They received an almost-too-cute-to-eat Bambi iced cookie as well!
Sister brought back last year’s face painter and most of the little girls chose to be painted like Bambi! I mean, how CUTE is this?! CeeCee’s face when she saw herself in the mirror was priceless.
The older boys opted for whole arm type paintings of things like “fire breathing” and “ghost” dragons :-)
Sister also made custom Bambi coloring books and had little cups of crayons for the kids to color during the party.
And she conned me into reading party of the Bambi story from this darling storybook. I didn’t go so far as the party where Bambi loses her momma.
It was truly the sweetest, most beautiful little celebration of the sweetest, most beautiful little girl.
I don’t have all of the sources, but if you are looking for anything in particular please ask in the comments and I will try to get Sister to answer!
Happy fourth birthday, CeeCee! We are SO glad that you’re “a person” now!!

This is seriously the cutest little girl’s birthday party I have ever seen! Your sister did a great job!
Such a darling party! Your sister seriously needs to blog about all the fabulous parties she put together. Everything was just perfect.
Those painted canvases are genius, and easy to recycle during the year for other events. As always, it looks like a fabulous party.
So many great ideas! I love the painted canvas that highlights the beautiful birthday cake. You have a very creative pool of talent in your family!
What a darling idea for a precious little girl’s party! Your sister should be a party planner (you as well). I see those beautiful handmade peonies again put to use that were made by your sister and mother. And ‘Bandi’ was certainly done to perfection! Thank you for sharing this pretty party.
This is absolute adorable perfection! All three of you are amazing. Amanda, I am sure you looked fabulous and I missed seeing you. Where are the cookies from and did Sister make the cake? The tiny chairs are too much! Thank you for sharing this! So, so dreamy.
PS … I forgot to mention how gorgeous your invitations and thank you cards were … and the touch of snow was BRILLIANT!
This has to be the sweetest little girls birthday party ever! Everything was just perfection and wouldn’t the Bambi theme with those beautiful colors of soft pink, crème and gold be precious for a little girls bedroom?
I also love the party flavors that were given out and those Bambi cookies were just too beautiful to eat!
