Glass Slipper Concierge advisors took a poll of the Top 10 Disney movies to watch while social distancing. It’s a great way to prepare for your next trip to Walt Disney World when we travel again. I rounded them all up on my social media pages, but figured a blog post would be a great reference guide for my clients!

Aladdin
Landing #10 spot on the watch list is Aladdin! There are a few different opportunities to meet Jasmine (and Aladdin) in the parks and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride, along with the spitting camel, is a favorite for all ages!
Avatar
Avatar took the #9 spot on the Glass Slipper Concierge list of must see movies before your Disney World vacation! I will admit, I was not too interested in this one UNTIL I saw it. Wow! Pandora World of Avatar is incredibly immersive and something you must see on your vacation.
Star Wars
Number 8 on the Top 10 Movies to see before your Disney World vacation is not going to come as a surprise: STAR WARS!!! Which one, you ask? Why not all of them?! You can now live your adventure in a galaxy not too far away. Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge land in Hollywood Studios is completely immersive with characters, attractions, shopping, dining and so much more.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Coming in at number 7 is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!! This is the first Disney movie I remember seeing and I adored Snow White as the was the only brown haired princess at the time. I still remember the terrifying ride in Magic Kingdom from 1980. Today, you will absolutely adore the “entry level” Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coaster and, for enthusiasts like me, this scene at the very end. You can meet Snow White at princess dining and in the UK in Epcot. At the seasonal ticketed parties, guests line up for hours to meet her with the dwarfs!
Beauty and the Beast
Tale as old as time Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite movies ever, and it comes it at #6 on the list! You can step inside Beast’s castle for a meal and Gaston’s Tavern for a snack, meet Belle, Beast and Gaston in various locations, have an interactive experience with Belle, and even see a Broadway style show!
Finding Nemo
Coming in at number 5 is the beloved and hysterical Finding Nemo!!! Your kids will adore riding through a real aquarium in a seashell in The Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot and the live action Finding Nemo the Musical in Hollywood Studios is a show-stopper for all ages. The biggest fans can immerse themselves in the movie in a Nemo themed suite at the Art of Animation Resort!
The Little Mermaid
Number 4 on the @glassslipperconcierge Top 10 Movies to see before Disney World is The Little Mermaid! I have loved this movie since it came out in 1989, and I can relate with Ariel’s “I want to be where the people are” sentiment now more than ever. You can meet Ariel as both a princess and a mermaid in various locations around the resort, take a ride under the sea in Magic Kingdom, and see a live action show in Hollywood Studios!
Frozen
I’m sure you were all wondering where Frozen would pop up on the list of the Top 10 Movies to see before your Disney World vacation. I’m pleased to say it landed in the number 3 spot! You’ll see the crew in the Magic Kingdom parade each afternoon, can meet Olaf and sing along in a spirited celebration in Hollywood Studios, and will meet the sisters and ride their attraction only in Epcot!
Cinderella
Cinderella is one of my all time favorite movies and it scored the #2 spot on the @glassslipperconcierge Top 10 Movies to see before Disney World list! Cinderella Castle is the most iconic photo shot in Disney and you can dine with Cinderella and friends inside at the quintessential and most coveted character meal.
Toy Story
And finally, the moment you’ve been waiting for. The number 1 movie to see before your Disney World vacation is Toy Story! Kids of all ages will love stepping into Andy’s back yard for entertainment, attractions and dining all themed to Toy Stor. Over in Magic Kingdom the Buzz ride is a perennial favorite.
I hope you enjoyed our little poll! I know so many of my clients and my own family have been disappointed by needing to postpone their much anticipated vacations. While you are starting over on the countdown clocks, you can use this list to start a weekly family movie night!

I’m so curious how you’re advising people about planning their Disney World trips. I was originally planning a Thanksgiving trip for my family so I was going to start booking it this month. But it looks like we don’t even know if it will be open then, or if we’ll feel comfortable being in crowds. Should I wait until 2021?
I think Disney will be open by July!
