It’s Friday friends! Empress has been killing it lately with their delicious and refreshing new cocktail ideas. I had all of this on hand and it made for the perfect summer happy hour al fresco on a hot night. It’s just the right amount of sweet and Honey and I both thoroughly enjoyed.
Empress Strawberry Basil Lemon Smash
The perfect cocktail for your summer harvest!
- 1.5 oz Empress 1908 Gin
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 strawberries, halved
- 3 Basil Leaves
- Strawberry and basil for garnish
Muddle strawberries and basil at the bottom of your glass. Add ice, lemon juice and simple syrup. Top with gin and garnish. Stir and enjoy!
