Favorite Lenten Dinners Part 2

Last year I shared a first installment of our favorite meat free dishes for lent in this post:

Well, it seems one thing we accomplished in the last year was getting comfortable with cooking seafood! I thought I’d share another installment of our favorite Lent friendly suppers from 2020.

Garlic and Herb Roasted Shrimp

It was so easy, so delicious and one everyone loved! I particularly enjoyed the fact that I could prepare it early in the afternoon and then just pop it in the oven 20 minutes before sitting down to eat.

Crab Cakes & Southern Potato Salad

This quintessential southern coastal supper was absolutely delicious and reminded me of home!

Seared Tuna Bowls

This one became Honey’s specialty and we all look forward to it!

Scallops Provencal & Lemon Orzo

Another meal where we went so far outside of our cooking comfort zone but were rewarded with such a delicious meal!

Summer Garden Pasta

This pasta became a staple over the last year and is something I know will stick around on our dinner table for years to come. It’s fresh, delicious and easy.

Veggie Plate Greatest Hits

Some of our favorite veggies all on one plate. We were only missing something green!

Lemon Fusilli With Arugula

This is another pasta dish with fresh ingredients that we all enjoyed!

Smashed Eggs on Toast

We still adore breakfast for dinner and Smashed Eggs on Toast has appeared often for both. It’s easy, cheap and hearty for those Friday nights where you just can’t do one more thing.

If you have a favorite Lenten dish, feel free to share it here!
