To answer the most frequently asked questions first… It was absolutely AMAZING, I DO think it is totally worth it for any Star Wars fan and YES, the experience is repeatable! In this post, I will take you on a spoiler-free tour of the Halcyon.

Chandrila Star Line
During your journey, you will live aboard a ship known throughout the galaxy for its glamour and style—crewed by the incomparable interplanetary travel group, Chandrila Star Line.
Chandrila Star Line is renowned throughout the galaxy for its fleet of comfortable and stylish starcruisers, top-tier service, delicious cuisine and exotic destinations—from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim and beyond. Chandrila Star Line’s legendary Purgill-class starcruisers were some of the first commercial vessels to offer hyperdrive travel, and their spirit of adventure continues to this day.
Rest assured that in these times of galactic conflict, Chandrila Star Line operates with the utmost care, and encounters with either the First Order or the Resistance are rare. While itineraries do occasionally experience some disruptions due to the unrest in certain parts of the galaxy, Chandrila Star Line starcruisers are well equipped with the latest shield and turbolaser technology to defend themselves in the unlikely event of dire circumstances—which are never an issue.
Well, almost never.
The Halcyon starcruiser is the jewel of the Chandrila Star Line. Onboard the 100-cabin Corellian MPO-1400 model starcruiser, you’ll voyage to the far reaches of the galaxy in legendary comfort and style. Recently refurbished and reoutfitted, the starcruiser combines modern conveniences with the romance of the age of exploration.
The Halcyon Atrium
The atrium is the hub of activity, day and night. Here you will find announcements from Captain Keevan and gatherings of many types throughout your voyage. Snacks and lounge serve are available here all afternoon and late into the evening.
The opposite end of the atrium features a model of the Halcyon and window into the Bridge.
A hyperspace compass was a type of ancient astrogation device. Even though he had better technology available to him when he built the MPO-1400 Star Cruiser Halcyon, the engineer Shug Drabor still used one such relic, which he had restored himself, because he liked how classic and reliable it was. The distinct appearance of that compass viewed from the front inspired the logo of Chandrila Star Line. Today, Drabor’s hyperspace compass is on display in the Atrium of the Halcyon.
The Chandrila Collection
The Chandrila Collection is the on-board boutique, featuring clothing, collectibles and accessories for passengers. I brought home a patch for my jacket, the Sabacc game and a Christmas ornament.
The Bridge
Located off of the atrium, the crew operates the ship’s navigation and defense systems from the Bridge. Passengers are trained and then occasionally allowed to operate the systems with the crew’s guidance. More to come on the excitement that unfolds on the Bridge!!
Sublight Lounge
You’ll be swept away by this stylish lounge inspired by the Halcyon starcruiser’s historic voyages throughout the galaxy. The classic elegance of the Sublight Lounge makes it the perfect place to sip a beverage and relax—perhaps while conspiring with a charming smuggler or playing a casual game of holo-sabacc. The cocktails were fascinating, the service charming, and all ages are welcome!
Crown of Corellia
The starcruiser’s famous Crown of Corellia Dining Room is a bright and welcoming hall that offers breakfast and lunch daily, before transitioning each evening into an enticing supper club with a lavish multi-course menu of both otherworldly and familiar origins. Each evening offers a unique combination of elements like live musical entertainment, unfolding story, unforgettable cuisine and other surprises to bring your dinner experience to life.
Cabins on the Halcyon
Enjoy the style, comfort and elegance of your cabin or suite. Cabins and suites feature an amazing view of passing ships, planets, stars and other breathtaking galactic sights.
Standard Cabin
For the Maiden Voyage, we stayed in a standard cabin. Scan into your cabin with your M-Band and the story continues! An entry hallway leads to the sleeping area and features closet space and a vanity.
The refresher is small but functional, with luxurious amenities like bubble masks and H2O bath products. Staterooms are serviced during your cruise.
Standard Cabins sleep 4-5 in a queen sized bed, twin sized bunks and a twin sized pull down bed. The three twins comfortably fit adults.
A porthole into space is a fascinating feature! Underneath, a table and two stools pull out for seating.
The bunks are interesting in that the bedding is a sleeping bag on top of a mattress. Younglings will LOVE it! I slept up top and was perfectly comfortable.
As noted, the fifth bed pulls down from the wall and accommodates an adult.
The in-room Droid Link is so much fun! Be sure to interact each morning and evening.
Galaxy Class Suite
For our family voyage, we stayed in a Galaxy Class Suite, which was absolutely AMAZING!!!!
From the hallway, you enter into a wet bar area. Suite guests are provided with a lovely welcome amenity, which we thoroughly enjoyed! We were also left treats throughout the voyage, including the Halcyon coin and an amazing candle to bring home.
The living room area has a spacious sofa, table, viewport, tv and a fun little crawl through to the bedroom. There is also a twin fold down bed in this space.
The bedroom has a queen bed and additional fold down twin bed. Another viewport to space, TV, and seating area round out the room.
The bathroom was SO spacious and very comfortable for the four of us.
Climate Simulator
The Climate Simulator is a courtyard located on the Halcyon. You will meet her to acclimate to the climate of Batuu before debarkation on Day 2. It is, of course, open at all hours for your enjoyment and special missions.
