It’s high time for another installment of my random musings. I do love the sight of my Alison Evans oyster bowl full of fresh fruit. Although it looks like this for all of a few hours before the littles dive in. I suppose that’s a good thing :-) I hardly know myself anymore. This app has been installed on my phone. Who are you and what have you done with Amanda?!?! This is an oldie, but did y’all enjoy the Good Morning America Frozen Sing Along segment as much as the baby and me? I still haven’t seen the sing along in the theater. I’m afraid I’d be the only one actually singing. My dear friend M dropped off the supplies to doll up my emergency car kit. Everything is better with a little pink! Mother included this lovely hand painted card in her thank you note from her birthday brunch. She’s so talented. And unfortunately, I did not inherit her artistic abilities. I can’t wait to frame this in our new family office. I brought home Disney Uno from my girls trip last month. Why having Disney characters on the backs of cards makes this game so much more fun, I cannot say. I have played and played and played again so many times that I am dreaming of draw twos and skips. I did a whirlwind overnight to Blue Ridge with besties N, C and E a few weeks back. Per usual, we managed to squeeze every last ounce out of our time together. One of our favorite stops was the Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company. They have so many varieties of flavored oils and vinegars, and a tasting bar with tons of recommended pairings. I have been loving my aged balsamic vinegar and will definitely go back on my next trip up!! I pulled out the PCP’s old Bob Books last week and have been working with the baby every day (and every night). He’s made incredible progress with his reading and is SO very proud of himself. I can hardly believe that we will be registering for Kindergarten in a few days! When he’s not reading, he’s running around outside. This kid absolutely positively loves baseball. And he’s pretty darn good at it to boot :-) I share my birthday with this silly fellow. He’s one of our closest friends in the world and always good for a belly laugh. Bestie S orchestrated ALL of his friends changing their profile picture on Facebook to this for his big day. It was pretty hysterical. And I already can’t wait to see what he dreams up for pay back :-) Sister is selling some of Jay and CeeCee’s darling clothes in Instagram. You can follow her and see the goods here! I suppose that’s it for the day. xoxo
Shamrock Screen
I’ve had my St. Patrick’s Day door decor up for the last week or so!! Last year Mother and I made the shamrock door hanger out of screening material and a little paint. It was an easy project and Mother has made quite a few more since then. You can see all of the details… Read More

Thirty-eight
I’ve celebrated here and there all week, but today was the big day. Thirty-eight! When I told a mom at the ball field that I was truly excited about thirty-eight, I’m certain she didn’t believe me. I mean, nobody is guaranteed another year and I, for one, think every single one that comes your way… Read More

Justice League + General Mills
Here I go again, posting about cereal. But seriously, General Mills just keeps knocking out of the park as far as my littles are concerned.
