Happy Hour {Empress Lavender Lemonade}

Happy Friday, friends! Honey and I are still loving Empress gin and continue to enjoy trying out new recipes. This is one I had on my “list” to make all summer. It was light and refreshing, but not my most favorite of all. (That award goes to the Empress 75!!) I really do think that has to do with the timing, as opposed to the drink itself. Ha! Right now I’m craving signs of fall and Halloween rather than hanging on to summer. This cocktail was created at the Fairmont Empress, a place I’d LOVE to visit and one of my Virtuoso hotels.

Empress Lavender Lemonade

Your favourite childhood treat, reimagined. The freshness of homestyle lemonade sings alongside the lightly floral lavender honey, keeping you coming back for more. Cocktail created at Q Bar, Fairmont Empress Hotel.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Empress 1908 Gin
  • 1 oz lavender honey syrup (I used lavender syrup)
  • 2 oz lemonade
  • lavender sprig and/or lemon slice to garnish

Method

Fill a stemless wine glass with crushed ice. Shake lemonade and syrup on ice and strain into the glass. Layer Empress 1908 Gin on top and add more crushed ice. Garnish with a lavender sprig.glass with ice. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
