Birthday Dinner Menu

As promised, I’m back with the menu from the birthday dinner we hosted for Mother and CeeCee! You can see the table in this post:

We started with champagne cocktails. I don’t recommend this Secco brand of prosecco and won’t purchase again. :-)

Our appetizer was a scaled version of my Capital Bee Co. inspired cheese and honey board. Sister brought deviled eggs from Jim & Nicks, which were devoured in no time flat! You can see ALL the cheese and honey details here:

I tried a new marinade for the pork tenderloin and didn’t love it as much as my other stand-bys so I won’t even share!

Favorite for grilled pork:

Favorite for roasted pork:

For something green, I did the balsamic broccolini that I shared earlier this month. Everyone agreed it was their favorite thing on the menu!! Broccoli!! HAHA! If you have a hard time finding broccolini, check Trader Joe’s.

And finally, it wouldn’t be a party without cake! I made the chocolate cake I shared earlier this month again as well. It received rave reviews and I stand by my statement that I will never make a different chocolate cake!

In addition to the eggs, Sister also brought mac & cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy from Jim & Nicks. Everything was delicious! We had such a lovely evening celebrating these two!

The cake and broccolini are both from my new cookbook, Barefoot Contessa At Home. It’s a great one!
