Senior night for the lacrosse team is one of the most anticipated, most festive games of the year! John had a great turnout with all his grandparents, aunchie, uncle and cousins. I hosted a little pre-game meal here before heading to Raider Valley.
Lacrosse Game:
I ordered all of the food from our favorite bakery to keep things easy.
Gingerbread cookies are his favorite of all time, and these gingerbread boys are his absolute top choice! I ordered them uniced and then Mother and I decorate with royal icing ourselves. They turned out super cute.
I used favorite decorative and serving items from my stash, including:
- Birthday Butler banner
- Happy Everything! platter, bowl and attachments
- Nora Fleming dish and graduation mini
- 3″ double faced satin ribbon (I use same red for Christmas)
- Sparkle cupcake toppers (also great for patriotic)
- Metallic shakers
- Grass table runner (I use for Easter, golf, derby and football parties!)
- Pom poms
Each senior decorated a photo display to line the field for the night’s festivities. I used John’s as a backdrop here, and have left it up since mid-April! It’s been a fun way to mark this special season.
I had drinks on the island. The napkins, cups and drink bottles (use the cricut to add logos) were all remnants of Hoco and will be used again at the grad party.
Mother painted the flag for him years ago and I used it in my flower arrangement. His fat head and yard sign were also fun to display.
I made a button for each family member to wear to the game!
It was such a special night celebrating #3 and the other seniors!
