Way back before this blog and kids and my travel advisor role, Sister and I ran a part time stationery business – Dixie Belles! Many of our friends that knew us then still call us “the Dixie Belles”. Dixie Belle was Sister’s cat’s name at the time and our logo was pink with a cat. We had so many local clients, and love designing, printing and finishing off custom invitations, stationery, and more. I had the absolute best time getting back to these roots when designing all of the party invites for John’s graduation festivities. I coordinated them by reusing some of the same fonts, and keeping the school colors primary.
Here is a recap of the main events:
- Grad Party
- Graduation Night Dinner Party
- Graduation Gift Tags
- Congrats Grad Cards
- Graduation Announcement
I still owe you a post for June and July on my 12 gifts on the 24th project. I’ve had a few people message me to ask if I stopped but I haven’t. June we finished off everything needed for his bedroom, and July did bathroom and his contributions to the living space. BUT, everything came in boxes that I don’t want to open since we still have to transport to Auburn. I figure I’ll catch up on this after we move him in and I can get pictures to go with the post. :-) Speaking of which, he’s only home for two more weeks. I. Can’t. Even. If anyone has figured out how to freeze time, please pass on your tips and tricks.
