Haunted Halloween Home Tour 2025 {Office & Powder Room}

I’m popping in today with the next two stops on my 2024 Haunted Halloween Home Tour – the family office and powder room! These are two little spaces that get big use and are such fun spots to add a few festive touches.

Family Office

The puppies and I spend much of the day tucked away in here, and I love surrounding myself with Halloween cheer. On the French door, I hung a felt wreath from my collection, and the ghost chair backs are the same ones I’ve used since John was a baby!

The credenza is home to my favorite pumpkin collection – full of memories and personality. Captain Underpants and Mickey were made by the boys years ago for their pumpkin book reports. A few others were crafted by Mother and a dear friend, and the little bee pumpkin was sent by my friend Ron. Every single one makes me smile!

Mother also passed along her pumpkin tree, which found the perfect home right here.

The Mickey ghost pillow was a favorite souvenir from many years ago, and I recently moved a pair of black-and-white pillows from John’s room to add a little extra Halloween flair.

Our old Pottery Barn Halloween countdown calendar hasn’t been used in years – it’s purely decorative now – but it still brings back sweet memories of little hands moving the numbers each day, counting down to trick-or-treat night.

Powder Room

The other felt wreath in my collection hangs in the powder room, secured with a simple command hook. Some festive soap and guest towels, along with a cheerful jack-o’-lantern, complete the look. It’s quick, easy, and adds just the right touch of Halloween charm to this little space.

Thank you so much for coming back day after day. I always love decorating for Halloween, and then enjoying it for the whole month.
