Now Serving {Mickey Ice Cream}

I scream! You Scream! We all scream for MICKEY ice cream!

At long last, my grocery store finally carries the Mickey ice cream bars. They are just like you get in the parks!! You know… absolutely delicious and outrageously expensive. :-)

While most snacks here these days consist of fruits, veggies, hummus, etc., sometimes there’s nothing like ice cream to hit the spot on a HOT summer (we may be in school but it’s still summer) day!

I served them just like they do on Disney Cruise Line when you order a Mickey bar for dessert in the dining room… drizzled with chocolate and topped with sprinkles. Did you know that you could do that?! It’s not on the menu, but I do it at least once every cruise.

Not to be left out, Elsa enjoyed one of her homemade Frosty Paws with the boys! I used my Mickey ice cube tray to make these.

Speaking of Disney and Mickey, Sister and I are off to Disney for the opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge!

Today my parents celebrate their fiftieth anniversary. Fifty years. Five decades. They are a rare, inspiring example of marriage through thick and thin, ups and downs. They raised Sister and I with a strong, unwavering sense of right and wrong, unconditional love, and by always sacrificing their dreams for ours. They worked for everything they… Read More
