Holiday Home Tour 2019 {The Porch}

At long last, I am going to put a bow on this year’s Christmas decor tour.

I keep blankets out here in fall and winter for cozying up on our milder nights. I just make a habit of throwing them in with the laundry once a week or so.

Even at the holidays, I keep our coastal accents out.

I made the burlap canvas with glittered initial years ago and hang it over the mantle every Christmas.  {see that project here}  Greenery, lights and stockings keep things simple but festive.

I recently added a white Happy Everything plate to my collection and think it is perfect out here with the nativity mini attachment. (affiliate link)

I always fill the shell bowl with greenery and love the brass reindeer that were hand-me-downs from Mother.  I remember them in our home growing up.

Over on the buffet table I set up our s’mores bar.   I don’t keep this out through the season – only when we are using it.

The tree out here is so simple.  It is just inexpensive glass balls and oyster shells.  Honey drilled holes in the shells years ago for this purpose.

White poinsettias from our teen church fundraiser are a lovely holiday touch, keeping with the coastal scheme and muted colors out here.

It has been too chilly to really enjoy the porch much this month. At least it is a lovely sight from the kitchen windows. I’d love some milder days. :-)
