New Jersey {Cape May: Congress Hall, Washington Street Mall & Rusty Nail}

June 22, 2022June 25, 2022

I am positively charmed by Cape May New Jersey – America’s Original Seaside Resort. We’ve only been here a day and I already wish we had a full week. The moment we pulled into town I was in love. Cape May is the most perfect parts of Historic Savannah and Tybee Island rolled into one… Read More

Today’s adventure brought us to the White Mountains of New Hampshire! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

April 25, 2022May 8, 2023

UPDATED REVIEW We’ve chosen Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for our Disney vacation stay more times than I can count. I know it is a little further to the theme parks, but it is a truly unique accommodation unlike anywhere most people have ever stayed. The grand lobby immediately transports you to somewhere special. I can’t… Read More

Today I’m sharing the final leg of our Kentucky road trip! J. Graham’s Cafe Breakfast We had very much been looking forward to this grand finale breakfast at J. Graham’s Cafe! We headed downstairs from our room at The Brown Hotel to the “home of the hot brown”. They were absolutely delicious and all four… Read More

Bringing Home Anna Dasher

January 20, 2022January 21, 2022

We’ve had SO much joyful, good old fashioned fun with our new bundle of joy. We picked her up on New Years Eve. This was the “first look”. Pure love. Whit held her most of the two hour drive home, but he begrudgingly let me get a little puppy love too. She’s quite the little… Read More

Atlanta {Downton Abbey: The Exhibition}

December 28, 2021December 30, 2021

For my bestie’s holiday-time birthday, I gifted her a morning at Downton Abbey: The Exhibition and then we enjoyed our annual holiday lunch! We got all dolled up for the occasion and that just added to the fun. So many others complimented us on our dedication to the full Downton experience. :-) The Exhibition is… Read More

Deer Valley Utah {Day 3: Family Ski Day & Montage Resort}

December 20, 2021December 21, 2021

We were up and at ’em early, with a hearty breakfast in the room! Room service is my kids’ MOST favorite vacation splurge. When you book luxury travel with me, I can usually add a breakfast credit on your behalf for each morning of your stay. It sounds like a little thing, but it is… Read More

Once I decided to have a party, the vision came to Once I decided to have a party, the vision came together quickly. I fell in love with a bottle of Chloe wine with a black bow standing in the aisle at Publix in Savannah… and the rest was history.

While pink would have been the obvious choice for me, I loved the idea of something more classic. Black and white, bows and a few (okay, a lot) monograms woven in.

I wanted everything to feel pulled together but still warm. The kind of space where you walk in and immediately feel like you’re somewhere special.

Every ribbon, every layer, every little detail… it all added up to exactly the feeling I was hoping for

Y’all come on in… 🖤🤍

I have so much to share from my 50th birthday part I have so much to share from my 50th birthday party. It was such a magical evening, and there are so many details to share and moments to convey that I’ve had to really think about where to even begin. So we’ll start here.

I went back and forth for a long time on whether or not to even have a party. Party planning is no small undertaking. But then again… I celebrate everything. And I knew I would be sad if this milestone year came and went without marking it in a meaningful way.

With a little encouragement from Honey, it was a go.

And once I decided, I knew exactly what I wanted. A celebration at our home, filled with the people who have shaped my life. I wanted the whole night to feel like me. And I wanted my guests to feel like they belong the moment they walk in. A night where conversations linger, and where you can look around and think… this is everything.

I’ll be sharing it all, but the beginning felt like the only place to start. 🖤🤍
