Master Bathroom {Week 5 Construction Update: Lighting, Shower Fixtures + Glass}

I can hardly believe that we wrapped up week 5 with this amount of progress – we have a fully functioning shower and electrical and are so close to the finish line.

The electrician was back to install the sconces, recessed lighting and outlets.  We decided to go with outlets with USB options which I am really excited about.  Strangely enough, the bathroom counter has been my primary charging location for my phone for years.

The glass guys were out to set the class shower surround early in the week and then the plumber came in to install the fixtures.  This shower is now fully operational, but I forgot to order a window covering so we aren’t using it just yet.  :-)

I am REALLY happy with the beautiful shower fixtures.  I feel like these are the little things that have the ability to make a space personal and remarkable.

The counter top will be installed on Monday and then the plumber comes in Tuesday to finish up the project.  That will mark exactly five weeks from demo day 1 to completion!  Of course, I still have fluffing to do – towels, art, drapery, etc.  But, we will be moving right on in on Tuesday.  The countdown is on!

  1. Less than 6 weeks for a fully remodeled bathroom is fabulous!!! Makes me dread the task of doing all ours a little less.
