Fairmont Chateau Whistler: Spring Equinox Yoga
My day started bright and early with Spring Equinox Yoga! Turns out…. I don’t really like yoga :-) That said, I am always game to try something new and it was included in the resort stay so nothing was lost.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler: Portobello Breakfast
After yoga, they guys met me at Portobello for Breakfast on their way out to the slopes. They enjoyed it just as much as I did yesterday! Again, this is included when you book with me.

Skiing Peak to Peak
The Blackcomb gondola is just outside of the Fairmont gates – literal steps away. After retrieving their skis and boots from the ski concierge, they were off on another full day of skiing peak to peak!
#1 SKI RESORT IN NORTH AMERICA BY CONDE NAST TRAVELLER
Experience the ultimate winter escape at Whistler Blackcomb, North America’s premier ski resort. With over 8,171 acres of skiable terrain across two iconic mountains, endless adventure awaits. With the Blackcomb Gondola just steps from Fairmont’s door, there’s no better time to hit the slopes!

Polar Bear Lake Dip
This week has been all about trying new things for me, so I said “why not?” when the concierge asked about the Polar Bear Lake Dip. There were five brave souls in my group as we headed off for Green Lake This is Whistler’s coldest glacier fed lake and was a mere 2 degrees this beautiful morning. Brrrrr! The couple from Scotland in our group were the first in and last out. Turns out, this excursion was started by one of the resort guides who did a Polar Bear Lake Dip every year growing up with his Scottish mum! Our guide came armed with loads of towels, robes and slippers. It was FRIGID but exhilarating.

Afterwards, it was straight to the steam room and hot tubs for me!

Since it is so easy to return to the resort mid-day, I once again met the guys in the Gold Lounge for a snack before they headed back out. It was raining down here, but snowing up top. So peaceful!

Fairmont Chateau Whistler: Mallard Lounge Apres Ski
We went back to Mallard today for apres ski. You really cannot beat their signature Gin + Tonic, the live music and the food.

Whistler Museum
Our next stop of the day was in the Village for the Whistler Museum and shopping. This is a complimentary excursion through the Fairmont. The museum was small but mighty and we thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits and history of Whistler.

We did a little shopping and the guys got new ski goggles, while I couldn’t resist the largest meringue I’d ever seen in my life.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler: Crystal Sound Bath
My evening kicked off with a Crystal Sound Bath at the resort. I first did this experience a few years ago at the Four Seasons Orlando and have taken every opportunity to do it again since. I find it more relaxing than a massage and just absolutely love it. Try as I might, I could not convince the guys to come along.

Nagomi Sushi
Whit spied Nagomi Sushi just outside the front doors of the Fairmont the day we arrived. When we looked it up, we saw they had an amazing take-out special. It was such a treat to enjoy in our suite, wearing our jammies and while watching Netflix.
