Fairmont Chateau Whistler: In Room Breakfast

There’s not much more indulgent than a room service breakfast on vacation. We scheduled it for 8AM delivery, ahead of our plans for the day. Again, this is included when you book with me.

Skiing Peak to Peak

The Blackcomb gondola is just outside of the Fairmont gates – literal steps away. After retrieving their skis and boots from the ski concierge, they were off on another full day of skiing peak to peak!

#1 SKI RESORT IN NORTH AMERICA BY CONDE NAST TRAVELLER

Experience the ultimate winter escape at Whistler Blackcomb, North America’s premier ski resort. With over 8,171 acres of skiable terrain across two iconic mountains, endless adventure awaits. With the Blackcomb Gondola just steps from Fairmont’s door, there’s no better time to hit the slopes!

Train Wreck Hike

I was off on a guided hike to Whistler’s train wreck. The hiking trail follows the Sea To Sky Trail and crosses a suspension bridge, offering scenic views of the Cheakakmus River rushing below before arriving at the colorfully painted box cars, which have sat in the forest since 1956. Our guide, Jack, is a Whistler history buff and added so much context to the morning.

Afterwards, I had a light lunch in the Gold Lounge and snuggled up by the fire with my book until the guys return.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler: Cabana Lounge Apres Ski

We took our apres ski back to the hot tubs today. It was one of the only days we didn’t have at least drizzle all day long in the valley. (which pleased the guys as snow in the mountain)

Fairmont Chateau Whistler: Archie Meet

We love any resort with a mascot, and delighted in meeting the cute little Archie. At only 2 years old, he’s the only puppy we’ve met at a resort. He was so playful and reminded us of our girls back home.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler: Mallard Lounge Dinner

We opted for a casual dinner and cards at Mallard tonight. I’ve eyed the burger all week, and it didn’t disappoint!
