When Whit had a bar mitzvah at Top Golf in an Atlanta suburb, Honey and I promptly scoured the map for a fun, nearby location for us the enjoy the evening. We landed at CRU Food & Wine Bar in Avalon and had such a great night. This charming area is lit with twinkle lights, has tons of great shopping and such a fun vibe overall. We also loved that there were so many groups of teens walking, chatting, enjoying ice cream and heading in to catch a movie.
We each started with a wine flight. I went with the obvious choice – bubbles!! :-)
We made a dinner of their small plates. Our #1 favorite – that we still talk about – was the goat cheese beignet. YUM!
That said, everything we tried was delicious.
It was a magical date night and the perfect fall evening to sit outside. We are currently looking for any reason to go back! :-)
