Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day {Shamrock Door Hangers}

I got my festive door hangers put up right after Valentine’s Day. It has felt like spring here almost all month, which has been such an unexpected delight.

Somehow I misplaced the second Irish bunting. Honey kept telling me he thought we had two, but I insisted there was one. In cases like this, we reference the blog. :-) Sure enough, as of last year I had two of these.

The Lucky shamrock from  Bronwyn Hanahan is one of my very favorites. It is the perfect pop of color as we ease out of winter and things start going green.

Everything is green, but gosh the weeds are out of control! Most of our ground cover gets blown away or completely flattened out over the winter. I abhor yard work.

My pansies are still liming along. I’m ready to bid these farewell in favor of ferns.

At the friends entry I have a DIY Shamrock door hanger that Mother and I made eons ago.  I hang this one with a command hook.

I’ve got a pan of creme de menthe brownies going right now! Enjoy your weekend!

Lemony Baked Boursin Pasta Recipe This one came together quick enough to enjoy on a school night.… Read More
