We made our annual trek down to Six Flags last night and took the baby along for the first time ever.
He was beside himself to get to Gotham City and insisted on riding the Mind Bender (at a mere four years of age). Lo and behold he was actually big enough so we did. Aaaaaaand, at the end he quite seriously proclaimed “That was so so so so so much fun. And I never ever want to do it again.”
So with the rollercoasters being one and done, we stuck to more family friendly rides… like the ones that leave you wringing out your clothes at the end. We did Thunder River, Splash Water Falls, and whatever they call the log ride until we were all drenched from head to toe.
Per usual, the highlight of the night was rubbing elbows with the likes of Sylvester, gettin down with Tweey and trying to remember who the big rooster looking guy was.
After which we wrapped up our night with strawberry Fantas and the littles’ first tastes of funnel cake. And let this serve a great example of why that is a supremely poor parenting call at ten p.m…
Hope y’all are having a wonderful weekend! xoxo

And even before the thought had fully formed, when it was just an inkling of an idea skittering about the outer… Read More
I Love {Moulthrop Studios} + A Winner
Okay, so the first title I put on this post was I Love {Matt Moulthrop}. But seeing as he’s the husband to bestie blonde Amanda, that seemed just plain weird. Anyhoo… our dear and quirky friend Matt is a third generation wood turner. He hails from a legacy of immensely talented Atlanta artists (his grandfather… Read More

All About Me
The first week of school is behind us, sports have kicked in and homework is coming home. Yikes! That happened way too fast. The baby thoroughly enjoyed putting together his poster this year. I mean, what’s not to love about glitter, stickers and markers?!?! In case you were wondering, the baby is “really good at… Read More
Fifty Shades of … Dan!
We were so incredibly blessed with the best group of neighbors ever imaginable in our old neck of the woods. They are a tight knit group that have celebrated countless joys, and held each other through a few unimaginable losses. And we love that they still invite us back!! This particular evening, we celebrated our… Read More
Full Court Press
So… it seems that the males around this house are becoming more and more insistent on growing our family. By a dog. I’ve known this was inevitable since the day Mother (who does not and has not owned a dog for at least 30 years) said “Amanda, you do know that all little boys need… Read More
