Holiday Dreams at the Ritz

December 30, 2013July 28, 2015

I was so so so so so beyond excited to surprise Honey and the littles with a little holiday getaway for Christmas.  I drove downtown and, try as they might, nobody guessed correctly.  When we pulled off the exit, Honey said “Motel 6?” and it made me even more excited for what would unfold in… Read More

Georgia Crafted

December 19, 2013July 28, 2015

I exchanged emails a few weeks ago with kind folks at Georgia Crafted… and then promptly forgot all about it in the midst of Thanksgiving, two birthdays, Christmas preparations, two class parties, the leak in the ceiling, and so on and so forth.  So imagine my supreme delight when I trotted out to the curb… Read More

Phipps Santa + The Pink Pig (and a Winner)

December 3, 2013July 28, 2015

Mother and Daddy-O arrived on Thanksgiving eve and we spent the night kicking off the holiday season with a few of our family’s favorite traditions.  Our first stop was to see the Santa at Phipps Plaza – our 8th year visiting THE undisputed Santa of the South. The littles worked on their lists pretty much… Read More

World of Coca-Cola

November 19, 2013July 28, 2015

This post was rescued from a sad life in my drafts folder… hence the summertime attire. I relish the opportunity to do something one on one with one of the littles.  And since I spend most days with Whit while John’s at school, I jumped at the chance to spend an afternoon with just John… Read More

Weekend in Review: Zoo + Homecoming

November 7, 2013July 28, 2015

Sister and her Mister treated the whole family to a Sunday at Zoo Atlanta.  We really had a great time!! As these pictures will attest, these four were definitely at home in the zoo.  We made the obligatory train ride around the zoo…   …and the baby finally wasn’t too scared to ride the carousel… Read More

Six Flags

August 24, 2013July 28, 2015

We made our annual trek down to Six Flags last night and took the baby along for the first time ever.  He was beside himself to get to Gotham City and insisted on riding the Mind Bender (at a mere four years of age).  Lo and behold he was actually big enough so we did. … Read More

I Love {Moulthrop Studios} + A Winner

August 22, 2013July 28, 2015

Okay, so the first title I put on this post was I Love {Matt Moulthrop}.  But seeing as he’s the husband to bestie blonde Amanda, that seemed just plain weird. Anyhoo… our dear and quirky friend Matt is a third generation wood turner.  He hails from a legacy of immensely talented Atlanta artists (his grandfather… Read More

It was about watching two incredible kids chase big dreams, cheering them on from the front row, and soaking up every minute together.

The city was amazing… but these memories mean even more. 🤍🗽

To JB and Cee: we couldn’t be more proud. Enjoy summer in the city!

A weekend I’ll never forget. 🤍 Back in my hometow A weekend I’ll never forget. 🤍

Back in my hometown celebrating the daughter of my sorority big sis, one of my dearest friends since the day we met at the ZTA house during rush.

For over three decades, we’ve shared so much life together. I can still remember decorating A’s nursery, celebrating birthdays and cheering her on through every stage along the way.

And now here we are, celebrating her wedding weekend in beautiful Savannah.

The entire weekend celebration was absolutely sensational, filled with faith, family, friends, happy tears, lots of laughter and more love than I can possibly put into words.

My heart is so full. 🤍 All of our best wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. 🤍

We ate all our favorite things, visited all our favorite places and enjoyed the kind of time together that never lasts quite long enough.
