Spooky S’mores Shake

If you follow along on Instagram you might have caught some of my Instagram Stories updates on our Halloween Witch.  Each day she brings a little treat to the house on a slip of paper in our Halloween countdown calendar.  Most days are just something we are already doing (ie. tonight is Fall Festival), some are other outings (like when we went to pick out costumes) and some are little treats like these “Spooky” S’mores Shakes!

I bookmarked this recipe back on National S’mores Day (raise your hand if you wished every day was that day) and just now got around to making them.  Since it’s Halloween time, a festive napkin, paper straw and a couple of rats make the whole thing “spooky” in my book.  However, this recipe can be enjoyed year round as far as I’m concerned.  Anyhoo, this specific shake was the whole impetus for purchasing these yummy flavored syrups for our coffee, hot chocoate and apple cider station.  {See more HERE}

Simply blend together the first 5 ingredients until smooth.  Serve in a tall glass and garnish lavishly.

As noted, we are headed to fall festival at school tonight.  Work has been totally ka-ka the last two days (Ka-ka is crazier than crazy), studying for 5th grade tests has been ka-ka AND I’ve had one home sick.  I’m SO ready for the weekend that starts approximately… NOW.  HA!

  1. They look (and sound) absolutely divine – I could use a Halloween witch around here! Hope your weekend is less crazy than your week (and your sick one is better soon)! Happy Weekend! xo

  2. I couldn’t help but giggle about Ka-ka, and wonder if only cattle ranching families think of ca-ca as cow patties or if you intentionally did that. Love your fun ideas!
