This year our little CeeCee danced as in icicle in the snow scene of her studio’s annual production of the Nutcracker! This year she had our whole party of 10 fill up a row to watch her perform. It was wonderful to be back in the theater for this show in 2021.
CeeCee was the tiniest little icicle on the stage, but her stage presence made her seem so much bigger! She did a marvelous job. This scene is one of my all time favorites in any ballet – the music, costumes, snow, choreography, etc. I welled up with tears watching CeeCee!
I always bring a little gift and flowers along but this year couldn’t resist a Nutcracker Ballet Barbie. I didn’t even think to take a picture. Mother outshined ALL of us by making Camille a REAL snow queen costume! It even had the pancake tutu and she sewed on gorgeous pearls and snowflakes. It was stunning. CeeCee ADORED it and was thrilled that Camille came to the show.
I’m so sad I got no photos from our celebratory dinner afterwards outside of this one.
CeeCee’s Nutcracker was a true grand finale to a wonderful Thanksgiving break full of family, friends, fun and festivities!
