Hello! I am so excited to be writing to you from beautiful Burlington, Vermont this evening. Our New England trip with Adventures by Disney kicks off tomorrow, but we flew in a day early for some exploring and r&r on our own.

The New England itinerary is brand new to Adventures by Disney this season and we are thrilled to be among the very firsts guests to experience the trip! Our adventure promises a journey into the very fabric of America as we explore the picturesque country farms and quaint villages that dot the pastoral landscapes punctuated with meandering rivers and scenic mountains. It is our hope that our adventures through New England will evoke a true sense of Americana and provide a lifetime of memories and experiences that our family will treasure.
Arrive in Burlington VT
Upon arrival at Burlington, we were met by an Adventures by Disney representative to assist with our luggage and drive us to the Hilton Burlington.

We are excited to call the beautiful Hilton Burlington home for the next few nights. Located just a block away from from Waterfront Park and a few minutes walk to Church Street Marketplace , we can’t wait to start exploring!
For families, two rooms is the same price as one so we always go with two for the extra space, extra bathroom and easier sleeping arrangements. Both rooms are identical at this resort.
We received a welcome letter from our guides – Liz and Tiffany – and can’t wait to meet them tomorrow!
The view of Lake Champlain from our rooms is breathtaking.
The Farmhouse Tap & Grill Dinner & Church Street Marketplace
We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Farmhouse Tap & Grill to kick off our culinary adventure. I promised the guys lots of cheese, ice cream and beer on this leg of the trip and we got that kicked off right away. :-)
The Farmhouse was absolutely delicious – everything was so fresh and we enjoyed trying each others meals. We started with cheese and Honey is already in love with the Von Trapp beers. Whit and I shared the turkey burger and mac & cheese, John opted for the pot roast and Honey did the pork burger with cheddar ale soup.
After dinner we took in the charming Church Street Marketplace, that was alive with happy guests and sparkling with twinkle lights.
It was the perfect start to a new adventure!
