A Homemade Cookie Cake for New Year’s Eve

January 1, 2026January 1, 2026

Happy New Year!! I brought a cookie cake to our New Year’s Eve celebration this year and I have to tell you… it was an absolute hit. The littles, the teens, the adults – everyone raved. But, as with most things around here, the final product comes with quite a story. I first attempted this… Read More

Farewell 2025

December 31, 2025January 1, 2026

We spent the final hours of 2025 in the same way we have for the past few years – in the company of dear friends, gathered around a table set with beauty and intention, and surrounded by the sweetest mix of laughter and love. It was the loveliest little celebration with a divine meal thoughtfully… Read More

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to the friends, families and clients who continue to choose and trust me as your travel advisor. 2025 marked another incredibly meaningful year in my business, and also brought new adventures for my own family – from the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, to sailing the brand-new… Read More

Celebrating Christmas 2025 {Snippets of Mother’s Christmas Home}

December 28, 2025December 29, 2025

I tend to get swept up in family and fun the moment we get to Mother and Daddy-O’s and don’t do the best job of sharing her beautiful and thoughtful Christmas decor. I tried to be more intentional this year and grab a few rooms I don’t usually think to share. Here are just a… Read More

Savannah Christmas 2025

December 27, 2025December 27, 2025

This year we did things a little differently… I headed down to Savannah a few days ahead of Honey and the boys. It ended up being such a special time, and something I truly hope we can repeat in the coming years. Mother and Daddy-O took such good care of feeding and entertaining me. It… Read More

Merry Christmas 2025

December 26, 2025December 26, 2025

From all of us to all of you, Merry Christmas! Christmas morning in Savannah started slow and sweet, just the way I love it. Marme and Daddy-O were up early, setting out breakfast, making coffee and getting a head start on our Christmas feast. As everyone woke, we sipped copious amounts of coffee out on… Read More

Some nights just deserve a place on the grid. 🎻⚡️ Some nights just deserve a place on the grid. 🎻⚡️

Whit had the incredible honor of learning from and performing on stage with Mark Wood… original electric violinist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra, creator of the iconic Viper electric violin and composer known for blending classical music with rock energy in the most unforgettable way.

And unforgettable is exactly what this night was.

Symphonic rock. Hard rock. Heavy metal. A full stage of student musicians absolutely pouring their hearts into every note with so much confidence, passion and energy.

And then there was Whit… featured cellist during Carry On Wayward Son, which already held a spot on my all-time favorites list before this night. Watching him up there completely in his element was one of those proud mom moments I know I’ll hold onto forever.

I know this video is long and maybe a little “mom scrapbook” coded… but this one deserved its square among the memories and adventures.🤍
