National Puppy Day {The Frozen Sisters}

It’s National Puppy Day and never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be mama to not one but TWO dogs. Ha! Of course, I didn’t foresee the boys either, so clearly my crystal ball has never worked. Anna and Elsa are the best sisters, playmates and pups and we just love their constant antics, daily “fight clubs” and snuggles.

Sister and CeeCee came by after ballet for a visit with the girls. Sister is an incredible photographer and snapped these of our newest addition.

Anna Dasher has finished all of her puppy visits and just tried doggy day care for the first time yesterday. She loved it!

The baby’s favorite things are food and balls. When her bowl goes down she literally dives in it – two paws and her full face. I’ve never seen anything like it. She carries balls all over the house and yard and almost every day one of the the boys comes home to find a long forgotten baseball, lacrosse ball or ping pong ball in their room.

I used to think it was impossible to get a good pic of my two boys. They have nothing on the dogs. I’m not sure I’ll ever have them perfectly posed. :-)

Happy National Puppy Day!

Inside we were greeted by wavy walls and themed lighting. Coral Reef is an intimate dining experience, and we marveled at dining… Read More

Sunday Supper {Parchment Baked Roasted Red Pepper Salmon}

Y’all….. I FINALLY turned out some edible fish in my kitchen!! And honestly, it wasn’t simply edible but it was truly delicious! Aside from Honey’s pandemic tuna steaks, I have tried and failed at fish for twenty years. The sauce on this salmon would make cardboard taste good, but everything was perfectly flavored and cooked… Read More

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day {Shamrock Pretzels}

I have hunted for two years for a good pretzel mix in a box to no avail! In the past, I’ve used both Auntie Anne’s and Fleischmann’s with good luck. Since my boys were asking and I couldn’t go another year without shamrock pretzels, I turned to the Nine & Sixteen recipe. I love pretty… Read More
