While my boys could sleep in till noon on most vacations (if we let them), on ski trips they are up with the sun! We ordered in breakfast before hitting the slopes.
It turned out to be the most glorious bluebird day! We did a few runs together.
And then Honey and I landed two prime chairs and enjoyed hot chocolates while the boys went off together.
We did a few more runs together – I just can’t get over the glorious scenery here.
And then sat outside in the adirondacks for a lunch of Deer Valley’s famous turkey chili. It’s so good and hearty and it was sunny and just warm enough to be comfortable outside.
After one more fun I left the boys to head back to the resort. They joined me around 3PM for daily tubing!!
The boys hit the hot tub and their devices back at the room, while Honey and I enjoyed another happy hour in Vista Lounge. Live music, incredible eats, a roaring fire, craft cocktails, twinkle lights…. it’s pretty amazing.
We don’t miss s’mores and hot cocoa at 4:30 PM!
We ended the night over a casual dinner at Burgers & Bourbon at the Montage.
