On My Bedside {The Other Woman}

I recently read The Other Woman by Sandie Jones. I didn’t read the back of the book and went into this one blind. In the end, that worked in my favor because I had no idea what was happening for a good ways into the book. When I figured it out I thought WOW! This IS twisted. I definitely recommend this one as a beach bag thriller. It’s a quick and easy read and different from what I thought it would be.

If you want to go in “blind” don’t read this spoiler…

HE LOVES YOU: Adam adores Emily. Emily thinks Adam’s perfect, the man she thought she’d never meet.

BUT SHE LOVES YOU NOT: Lurking in the shadows is a rival, a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.

AND SHE’LL STOP AT NOTHING: Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

What’s on your bedside? Bonus points if it’s too good to put down! I need to set up a new wait list at the library. I’m reading a Karin Slaughter book and, sadly, it isn’t keeping my attention like they usually do.

Sunday Supper {Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread}

I’ll be honest… I usually make my cornbread from the Krusteaz Honey Cornbread mix. It’s delicious, particularly if you love a sweet cornbread. However, when I was taking dinner to a friend I was inspired to try something new. This jalapeno cheddar cornbread was easy, delicious and plentiful. It is a wonderful alternative to a… Read More

We were back… Read More
