We’ve decked the halls in ribbons and bows and twinkly lights and all that glitters. I cannot wait to welcome y’all into our home over the next week. For today, let’s start with the exterior and foyer.

I love white lights, garlands and big red bows so much at Christmas. I can usually go 2-3 years with my ribbons before they fade and must be replaced. This was a new bow year so everything is so wonderfully red.

Rather than fighting with my half dead ferns or struggling with pansies, this year I invested in beautiful urn fillers from Grandin Road. They are lit by batteries at night and are really beautiful.

I use pre-lit garlands from Costco outside. Four years later and they are all still working! I used to struggle with lighting them myself so it is still a joy to pull these out and plug them in each year.

The side entry gets its own garland and monogrammed wreath.

And, the friend’s entry does as well! The sun was so harsh when I took these photos.

No door is left undressed! Finally, the porch door.

My favorite piece of Christmas in the entry every year is the boys’ Santa picture. I think it is such a fun way to greet our visitors this time of the year. This frame was my one purchase from the Magnolia line at Target.

I’ve had the glittery Santa for years and usually put him here on some of my mom’s antique books, surrounded by little trees.

I decided to leave the burlap table skirt out after Halloween because I think it goes better with my Christmas decor. The “everyday” skirt is right under it!

The garland here in the entry continues the traditional red and green Christmas colors from outside.

I purchased this one years ago from Hobby Lobby because I loved all of the berries, pinecones and different types of greenery. I add pheasant feathers and a few additional greenery pieces to dress it up even more.
