I’ve been sitting on some BIG news for two months now. I haven’t talked about it because I was so genuinely shocked and excited that I thought maybe it wasn’t even real… little ol me received the coveted, pixie-dusted email in her inbox inviting her to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration!!!!!!!!!!
The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration is an invitation-only professional conference for social media-minded moms, dads and grandparents. We will be fortunate enough to not only enjoy the wonder and magic that lies in every Disney vacation, but we are also presented with a dynamic line-up of speakers and one-of-a-kind events designed to empower and energize in both professional endeavors and family life.
I get to bring along the entire family for the first time that the conference is designed as a Disney Land and Sea Celebration. The event begins at the Walt Disney World Resort, and culminates on board Disney Cruise Line!!!!
In the spirit of full transparency, we did pay a registration fee to attend the conference – like you would any conference. I budget one conference per year into my blog earnings and never in a million years dreamed I’d be able to trade in my usual Haven Conference for this one in 2017!!!!
The first question ALL of my friend, family and coworkers have asked is “HOW did you get invited?” The answer is I HAVE NO CLUE!!!!!! From everything I’ve read, there is no way to get invited, rather Disney finds you!!! Y’all this is seriously the most flattering and encouraging things that’s happened to me in my blogging career.
