Y’all, one afternoon after the time change we were all just pooped after school. So, we shirked all responsibility, piled into my bed and watched a movie. These are the days…
I LOVE spring because I get to pull out all my favorite Lilly dresses. I wore this one to work last week and it made me laugh in thinking about the Lilly for Target fiasco of 2015.
Wait… did I just say I love spring? I do, but it’s changed up for “but first” routine. Rather than coffee, my mantra is “but first, zyrtec.”.
We’ve battened down the porch for the onslaught of pollen. But we got a few good weeks of afternoons like this out of it first. Really, I’m sure I could keep up with keeping it clean, but I can barely breathe out there right now anyway. So, when the yellow stuff starts coming down we cover everything in tarps and wait it out.
Spring also means the advent of spring sports. My afternoons are mostly spent between lacrosse and baseball fields, with a daily pit stop at QT for my fave vanilla coke. Interesting fact… I actually like my vanilla cokes with diet coke. It’s the only time I drink it.
Speaking of sports, Elsa loves tagging along to the fields with us. And we love how it completely tires her out :-)
Speaking of the devil, she got into the “treats for our peeps“. Sorry peeps, looks like there will be one less treat this year.
We had lunch at the club last weekend and I had to snap a pic of the lovely flowers out front. I love colorful flowers, but always do all white at home :-)
I came across this on instagram. Yes, please. Why oh why don’t I have a place for monogrammed, striped and scalloped awning?!
Oh, and one last thing before I go… the new Coke store at Disney Springs is going to be fantastic. Two of my favorites colliding!
So, that’s spring all tied up in a basket of randomness for now!! Are y’all ready for April Fool’s Day tomorrow?!
xoxo
