Dear Cookie

I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to truly express how very much I wanted you and how completely I love you.  I dreamt of you, prayed for you and anxiously awaited your arrival.  Now, at two years old, you are truly a dream come true!

There are so many things I love about you.  You are the best and happiest baby.  You have the bluest eyes, blondest hair, chubbiest cheeks and most kissable lips imaginable.  You are such a mommas boy, but do enjoy watching football and relaxing with Daddy too.  You love your brother unconditionally and already admire him and try to emulate him (which is not always a good thing.) You love animals – cats, dogs, fish, and, unfortunately, the ferrets at Petco too.  You don’t talk much, but when you do it is the sweetest little voice I’ve ever heard.  You were born to kick a football, hit a baseball and lug around golf clubs and those are some of your favorite things to do.  You love your sweet blue lamby and paci more than anything in the whole world.

And, most of all, you have a precious smile that tugs my heart strings and a laugh that makes my heart sing.

Happy 2nd Birthday sweet child.

Love always,

This year Scout is bringing a treat to the boys each day. We wanted to avoid just giving candy, so we decided to use all… Read More

I’m Amanda. I’ve spent my whole life living in the South. Originally from Savannah, I eventually stepped out from… Read More
