Pinkalicious

I was so proud of my long time stand-by, go to color of choice, PINK, for being named Color of the Year by Pantone for 2011.  Pink and I have been the best of friends for as long as I can remember and I just adore this perfectly pinkalicious shade called “Honeysuckle.”

Now, while I mourn the loss of my old pink laundry room …

… those that know me KNOW I’ve got the wardrobe completely covered! Remember ladies, wear pink and make the boys wink ;-)

My newest perfectly pink purchase are these (scored at Target in the kids shoe section for $17 – they are pinker in person) Converse shoes.  A great, funky kind of complement to my classic, preppy Lilly shorts this summer!

And I have officially added these ballet flats to my birthday wish list – in a scrumptious year round shade of PINK!

But waking up this morning to a wonderland of Southern snow for as far as my eyes can see, for once I’m not thinking pink as much as I’m appreciating the pure beauty of white.
